Etsy Scarfy Thing #2

Since the yarn I used for my first scarf for Etsy had the silver sparkles in it I decided to do a basic 2×2 rib. The second yarn I’ve selected is much simpler so I’m trying out a new stitch pattern. It’s taking me much longer to make ground, but it’s turning out pretty nice, I think. One problem – I think I like the “wrong side” just as much as I like the “right side” and now I’m having trouble deciding which side to actually button out. Here are some pictures so you can decide for yourself.

And, some other fun knitting news… I signed up for Ravelry yesterday. There’s a waiting list to get invited to participate in the site, but once you’re in you can swap stories, patterns and pictures with other knitters. I think it will be a great way to stay motivated and get ideas for some new projects. There are currently 6,750 people ahead of me in line, but I think they invite around 500 people a day so it should only take me about two weeks to get on. Stay tuned!
